Indian Roller

After a long holiday in December last year with my family, I really missed the birding outing with my group, the  North Avian Snipers and the moment my friend Kevin knew I was back from holiday and he show me a new place to shoot a new migratory bird, yes, is called the Indian Roller (Coracias benghalensis) but is not from India, hahaha…we were in the new place quite early in the morning and waited for this migratory bird to appear, yes it did and i am lucky to have shot quite a few of this bird…

Thaipusam 2008

Yes, a three days event and this year Thaipusam armed with Nikon D200 and nikkor lens 17-55mmf2.8 I went there alone and have a shooting spree and continuously for two days to take some shots, plenty not some I must say.  On reaching there I was surprised to see so many photogs there too, oh yes I also have met some of my friends there busily snaping away nice pics…afterall I am not alone then.  I must admit that I enjoy myself very much during that two days shooting spree.   Anyway, I have not finished editing the pictures as yet…but so far of all the pics I have seen and taken and this one I like most…

Made in China or Made by China ?

I came across this in the paper and was puzzle by it.  The China authority intends to fight back with counterfeit goods as  the words “Made In China” indicated counterfeit goods or inferiority.  So, they come out with the words “Made By China” to improve the image.  But, would it made any difference ?? Hmmm…I wonder
